Bubbles

So I switched to Word­Press since my old “bub­bles” blog which I was run­ning on “joomla”, a pretty cool open source con­tent man­age­ment sys­tem, got seri­ously hacked over and over again. These secu­rity issues became so annoy­ing that I just had to take the site down.

And, quite frankly, I needed a fresh start any­way. So I hope I can rebuild what I liked about the bub­bles blog and this time around attract maybe even some more readers.

It’s is an inter­est­ing time for me to re-start my blog, because I am just about to fin­ish a 16 months long project and I already feel the post cre­ative depres­sion sneak­ing up on me. Also this time around I am some sort of free-lancer, I think, I don’t seem to be a staff employee any­more, it seems. Huh? It seems?
Yes, It’s a bit unclear, but most likely I will be float­ing with the end of my project. The issues so many peo­ple are fac­ing these days.

So there will be a lot to write about, with the usual ques­tions on what to share and what not, after all this is a record not only for me, but also for any poten­tial future and past employer or client. I will try to stay upbeat, share the good news and enjoy my time in sunny California.

I have to re-learn the theme-writing for word press, but for now a pre-built theme will do just fine.
