This is one of my childhood places, the forest just about a mile away from home.
So I switched to WordPress since my old “bubbles” blog which I was running on “joomla”, a pretty cool open source content management system, got seriously hacked over and over again. These security issues became so annoying that I just had to take the site down.
And, quite frankly, I needed a fresh start anyway. So I hope I can rebuild what I liked about the bubbles blog and this time around attract maybe even some more readers.
It’s is an interesting time for me to re-start my blog, because I am just about to finish a 16 months long project and I already feel the post creative depression sneaking up on me. Also this time around I am some sort of free-lancer, I think, I don’t seem to be a staff employee anymore, it seems. Huh? It seems?
Yes, It’s a bit unclear, but most likely I will be floating with the end of my project. The issues so many people are facing these days.
So there will be a lot to write about, with the usual questions on what to share and what not, after all this is a record not only for me, but also for any potential future and past employer or client. I will try to stay upbeat, share the good news and enjoy my time in sunny California.
I have to re-learn the theme-writing for word press, but for now a pre-built theme will do just fine.
